Kidtricity offers fun and exciting opportunities for children from age 2 through fifth grade to worship, learn about God and Jesus, and serve others in age-appropriate ways.
Sunday school meets in the Kidtricity area at 9:35 a.m. for grade-level small groups. Children not only worship during Sunday school, but share their music in regular worship services throughout the year.
Summer Sunday school will begin June 4 and volunteers are needed in the children’s area. The Sunday school teachers are getting some much deserved time off.
When the children come into the children’s area at 9:35 a.m. they will sit on the carpets and watch a DVD that will help them understand the Bible. After most of the children arrive we will begin music, which will be around 9:45. At this time the schedule will go as follows:
- 9:45-10 – Music
- 10-10:25 – Large group lesson
- 10:25-10:45 – Small group activities
The two- and three-year old class will be pulled out after music and will go to their classroom for their lesson.
Your job will be to enjoy the children, encourage them to sing and listen and encourage them to be respectful. When it comes time for the activities you can choose an activity to enjoy with the children.
Volunteers are also needed to help in Children’s Church this summer. As you can tell, it takes a lot to offer these programs for our sweet children.
Please pray about these opportunities and let the director of children's ministries, Jeanette Williams (firstname.lastname@example.org), your thoughts. Sign-up sheets will be available in the children’s area. Thank you ahead of time for caring for our blessings.
Children's Church is offered during both Sunday morning services - 8:30 and 11. Children will be dismissed right before the sermon. They will spend 20-25 minutes learning in their own service. Children will return to the sanctuary during the closing hymn to rejoin their parents. All children pre-kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to attend Children's Church.
We have nursery space near the Worship Center for children newborn to 5.
