Women's Retreat scheduled for February

Real Life-Real Baggage: The Emotionally Healthy Women's Retreat will be held Feb. 8-9.

The retreat is based on "The Emotionally Healthy Woman" book by Geri Scazerro. The book challenges us to follow Jesus and courageously quit anything that does not belong to God's kingdom or fall under God's rule. You will be guided to throw away or "quit" your own "stuff" that holds you back from living an emotionally healthy and spiritually deep life.

The retreat is $45 and will start that Friday at 5:30 p.m. with registration then dinner and will go until 9 p.m. We will gather again on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and have a light breakfast and lunch.

You will experience passionate worship, inspiring Bible teaching, amazing time with other women, fun crafts and great food. If you have questions please contact Pastor Angie Olsen, aolsen@communityumc.net. Sign up at church or click here to register online.

Next step for Capital Campaign

The Priceless Capital Campaign has been a huge success. We have retired the debt and completed several projects. So what's next?

You are invited to join one of three town hall meetings: Thursday, Jan. 10, at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, at 6:30 p.m., or Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. Pastor Curtis Olsen and the Church Council will ask you for input on the next step for our capital projects. The council will process the input from these meetings and then will announce the next step by the end of January.
