Connecting through virtual gathering

The disciples of Jesus

A new study begins Jan. 10 at 10:45 a.m. via Zoom. Jim Hillbrick will be your guide. This 15-week study will be an in-depth look at each of Jesus' disciples.

Some have lots of information and background but others have very little if any. We will also deal with what a 1st century disciple of a teacher/rabbi looked like. The significant conclusion will be applying this discipleship model to our lives in 2021. The group is open to all. For more information, contact Jim by email.

'Everything is Spiritual' study

Beginning Nov. 1 the Anchored Explorations class will explore the sermon series "Everything is Spiritual" by pastor and author Rob Bell. In his discussion, Bell makes some fascinating observations ranging from Genesis and the big bang all the way to how God's work can be seen in the remarkable physics of our universe. David Campbell will be leading this series and it is guaranteed to be thought provoking. We meet on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. via Zoom. All are welcome. Contact Becky Wehrman to join.

Soul Detox study

The Parents of School Agers Sunday school class will be starting a new book "Soul Detox" on Nov. 8. We meet at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom. Contact Jordan Alexander for the Zoom link.

Wednesday night group

You are invited to join the Wesleyan Class Meeting group. This is not a "curriculum-based" small group but one based on a book "The Class Meeting" by Kevin Watson, who bases his writing on John Wesley's small groups in the early church. It is our intent to share our personal spiritual journey, successes and failures, in a "safe" environment where we can grow in our faith.

New members are welcome. Email Mary Dolan for all of the information about how to join online.

Saturday morning men's group

You are invited to join a faithful and fun group of men for Bible study on Saturday mornings at 7. Email Rick Ellsworth for information about how to join online.
